Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo on the Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay who is producer and director of drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the earliest moments of her childhood, like attending rehearsals and watching of stage plays. Silk starred in numerous commercials for kids. Her Bachelor of Arts was conferred by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto in her quest to act and progress, and then moved to Los Angeles California. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's training located in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got married in December of 2009 following a civil ceremony. When she converted to Judaism and they were married again in an Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on the 13th of May, 2016. Silk is known for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was expecting while shooting the final season of the third season. She announced the pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season and on the 20th of June 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was back to work on the show. CNN has named Bo's character along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple in 2013. Entertainment Television.
